Long Time Gone

The Dixie Chix version.

I know I have been absent for, like, a month. But I wasn't well. (I may, or may not, write about all that in the future.) Then we had a kitten situation, which I WILL write about.

I'll be firing up the old blog posting machine later today because I want to post fuller versions of three stories appearing in a very cool local magazine.  

And, of course, more about this:  Alfred: 4 weeks old, the litter runt, his mama left him. We're feeding him with a syringe.
